life is like a bowl of cornflakes

Just sitting here pondering life over my bowl of cereal...

Life is like a bowl of cornflakes, it starts out all crispy and full of promise and then you add milk and it begins to get a bit soggy.  Just when you start to get a little bogged down you find a hidden bite of banana to sweeten it up just enough to see through the bowl.

Here's wishing you a day full of hidden bananas!

xo, Patty

  6. We won't get paid til Wed. and we have no money for even a $1 ice cream cone at Burger King (love their ice cream cones). But on Wed. we'll have our SS (we both get our SS on 4th. Wed. of each month) and be able to buy our groceries.
Guess you could say our cereal is soggy for a few days then we get the bananas and strawberries that are hidden. With the high cost of groceries now it's often very hard for us to stretch our money after we pay all our bills but somehow we make it thru together. We have each other and our dog and cat. We're doing pretty good I think. Just hurry the heck up Wed. lol Really enjoy your blog
