My hope is that this blog is like a visit between friends. I enjoy hearing from you and will try to reply to you in the comment section right after your comment, so stop back by and continue the conversation. - Patty

a retreat

I am off for a weekend retreat with the ladies from my church.  To say that I'm ready for this time of reflection and fun would be an understatement.  I think everyone needs at least one weekend a year to get away by themselves...to leave the ordinary circumstances of life behind for a day or two.

So I am off to the Hot Springs to learn how to "live in the moment".

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.  Each day has enough trouble of it's own." Matthew 6:34

See you all on Monday.  Have a wonderful Autumn weekend.

xo, Patty

  14. What fun! I have never been to a retreat, but I guess going to a few of my family reunions was sort of the same thing. We always sing and have a great time sharing with and encouraging each other.

That is a lovely photos; love the jar with the autumn berries.

    :) Hope

  15. I know you are having a wonderful weekend. Haven't been to a retreat in years. About time I put that on my list. I have to remind myself of that verse in Matthew often.
